Earlier report suggest James Comey asked DOJ
to investigate Donald Trump's wiretapping claims

Y’all may not remember this but back in March of this year, the New York Times reported that former FBI Director James Comey asked the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate Donald Trump’s “truthful hyperbole” claims that former President Barack Obama was ease dropping on him at Trump Tower during the 2016 Presidential Election.

Comey’s request was a direct result of Trump getting up one morning, tweeting this, “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!”

As far as Comey was concerned, Trump was trying to say that Comey and the FBI were helping Obama to commit a crime by listening in on Trump and his crew’s private conversations at Trump Tower.

And anyone who knows anything about James Comey knows he can’t have folks smearing his "so fresh" and "so clean" image with “he say she say” talk.

Comey doesn’t want folks thinking he is the kind of human being who will allow his political views to cloud his judgement so to the point that he will work hand ‘n’ with a sitting president in order to get dirt on a presidential nominee while also investigating the presidential nominee who is a member of the president’s party.

Welp, as it turns out, the DOJ agrees with the former FBI director. And last Friday, the DOJ said this much via a court statement which says, “There is no evidence to support President Donald Trump’s claim that President Barack Obama ordered the wiretapping of Trump Tower during the 2016 presidential campaign.”

The DOJ’s statement is evidence of two things. First, the statement is evidence that Trump lied. Finally, the statement is evidence that no matter how hard he tries, Trump’s own shortcomings is why former President Barack Obama and former FBI Director James Comey continue to be a thorn in his side.
